You dropped off in the water, I looked but couldn’t find you. In this dark place you weren’t here, in the silence you weren’t here. So I dove down to the deepest on the sea floor, I kept still to count the sea creatures, I swam into the currents, I drifted within them. I slept in the soft glow of the moonlit columns, I found a place among them. Here the depths are overwhelming without you but I stay deep below, looking.
